D_POS program is used to manage paint formula information and related services.
D_POS allows full control of an unlimited database of recipes, of data associated with tints and important for customers of Point-of-Sales locations.
This program supports both volumetric and by weight dispensing formulas, automatically managing all relevant information tied to the dispensing process.
The graphic interface enables the program to be easily and intuitively used. The selection modes and activation of the various functions are similar to those in Windows to avoid extra adapting time to the operator.
The entire program was developed to be used by people who have little computer knowledge, but are familiar with the terminology and information related to tinting systems. Easily recognizable icons identify all the functions and main data.
At program start-up, the main screen is divided into 2 distinct functional parts:
- Selected formula data (on the right)
- Function keys (on the left)

|
This function allows you to access the protocol to start the dispensing operation.
When a tinting machine driver is properly installed in the computer (or network), formula information are transferred to the driver. This protocol may change according to the driver and machine manufacturer specification.
The default installation includes Dromont’s D_DSP dispenser driver. Selecting this function the driver is forced to pop-up on the Windows desktop and keep control of the dispenser functions. When physical dispensing is performed using a manual tinting system, this function is not available. |

D_SET is one of the companion software package for the Prima Colorant Dispensers.
This package provides utilities for color system configuration, machine calibration, usage tracking, and machine control.
D_SET is intended for authorized service technicians and is used to assign identification codes and dispensing parameters to each canister. This information will be used by the dispenser driver software to identify canisters, adjust formulas, and monitor the colorant levels. All D_SET functions are accessed through the main control screen.
Canisters are identified by an on-screen color display and a canister position number. Navigating through the different canister positions the color display and the entry fields are forced to show the selected canister data.
All the buttons and entry fields of the application are accessible clicking with the mouse and through control keys. The available keys are indicated on the main screen in proximity of the associated function/field.
